Die Empty

I have always been fascinated with the variance of life. There is so much on offer.

God tells me that all the “Accessories” of this world are for me. I want to embrace that, I have always felt the need to live life to the fullest. It’s the only one I’ve got.

Don’t you want to live life to your full potential?

There is a method to this beautiful, seductive, dangerous madness.

You work hard. I know. Work Harder.

Work till your ears bleed. Give it your all. Whatever you’ve got, it is for the world. It belongs away from you.

Dig deep. You must.

This is not a drill. There are no rehearsals. This is your life. You only get one shot at this.

Don’t you want to dig deep? Don’t you want to see how far you can go?

I know “why” I do it, but it is always hard to put that “why” into words. Why, the Purpose, is inherently hard to describe. It is emotional, it comes from that part of the brain that doesn’t have language!

But the following line from a writer comes close:

“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ’I used everything you gave me.” ~ Erma Bombeck

I want to die empty.

I don’t want anything that I’ve been given to go to waste. I believe the best use of a gift is exactly that: the use of that gift. With every gift comes the test: how will you use it?

What have you got? How can you give it your all?

Plan bigger. Work harder. Die empty.
