Server boy is called Server boy because, for some odd reason, I was humming Skater boy. Yes that’s a 2.4 decades old song. And I was doing a lot of sys admin, moving my sites from a managed environment to a cold, dark vps. A lot of emotions there I am sure.
Optimizing Website Speed
This is what I am – for some reason – addicted to. This game, get the page speeds in the green. Sure, I spend money on ads, but nothing pulls me than a fast loading site. That’s what I want and working towards. This is capturing some of that journey
Practicing these skills
Server Management
CLI intrigues me. This makes me experience that raw power, unfiltered by “Are you sure” type of hand-holding. I couldn’t do it before, now AI helps me do it.
WordPress Optimization
Love WordPress. Optimizing it myself makes me feel like an adult. Being on the page builder drug feels like I’ve been playing video games.
