I uploaded a video last month, it now has more than 200,000 views just on one platform. The video was on “How to change your halaat”. The video was in Urdu. It was recorded “filbadee” in two parts. Part 1 alone has these views.

I posted the same short video on YT Shorts, my FB page, my Insta and yes, my TikTok. Combined views from these platforms cross 350,000 views. For a month-old 3 min video. In Urdu. On mindset and spirituality of sorts.

You can watch this video here. But that’s not the point…

Then a few days ago, I posted another video. That is currently close to 100,000 views. That video is on “5 things you need in your brand to get to 1 million rupees per month inshAllah”.

Combined platform views for this video is well above 100k views. In the last 4 days.

Watch this video here.

Two videos on the two topics we cover:

personal development and
brand/business development.

Both relevant to my offers, my mission, my work.

And hopefully, because you’re getting this email, they are relevant to you too.

But these “viral” moments are dangerous. Khatarnaak.

I recognize the slope that I am on is slippery indeed.

Slippery Slopes

Going viral is what we immediately want. But that is NOT what we need.

Especially if you have a business, and you’re trying to serve your customers with your service or product, getting viral becomes dangerous.

Can you see how it is dangerous?

Making content FOR other people means you pay attention to what they WANT to see, right?

The magic is in the overlap:

profitable content strategy for Pakistani brands

But finding the overlap is difficult. You need to find two extra things:

what people want and
what pays great as well.

But trust me when I say this: trying to find that sweet spot is the magic! Alhumdulillah.

But consider #3 in the diagram: what pays great and people want to see. That can get dangerous.

You can’t change what people want, so end up changing your offer.

You start creating content that is EASIER to watch for more and more people.

And that is what we see when we critically analyze the weird to vulgar content on social media: people just want views now, and that is the quickest way to get views. Always has been.

Viral Content Vs Profitable Content

I don’t want viral content. I want profitable content.

I make money, yes. But I make money selling offer that I KNOW will help the person buying them. I KNOW, with evidence, that my offer is the solution. My offer and the solution to my client’s problems are connected. That is what helps me sleep at night. God is watching my every move, every thought. So making that connection is essential.

So yes, profitable content over viral content any time!

We as creative entrepreneurs want to first make profitable content. If that content goes “viral”, that’s good. But we do not at all want to even try to make viral content!

Easy Answers need Hard Work

The answers are easy.

Want to make a bigger, profitable brand? Start making content that solves a problem for your potential client (the ICP as they call ‘em).

You want to make more profitable content that you enjoy making? Start making more content regularly.

You want to earn more from your products and services? Make more offers.

You want to be more clear and focused in your work? Be more focused in your work. Stop watching reels. Throw the distraction out and start moving about - harkat mey barkat. When in doubt, just add venture.

But easy answers are not easy to do. They are simple to do, not easy to do.

Easy answers require hard work.

And that is what DreamBreakers, ProHobbyists and AddVenturers do - going hard on the smart work.

Because working hard on the right things, is the smart thing to do.

Bismilla.
