Resources for the Disciplined Creative

The published writer scolds the erratic painter, “you should be more disciplined about your painting. You hardly finish any work, and move on to the next one. And you don’t even publish your art, how can you even call yourself an artist?”

This is the conversation I have with myself. I was a published writer (articles, books and a song!), but my “painting” was no where to be found. Yet I would doodle more than I’d write.

This section is a collection of resources that helped me, and now help countless other creators, on how to:

– find more discipline for their creations

– build a brand online, so their art gets “published” and is taken to the market!

I have almost 300 videos on YouTube around these two subjects. And countless articles. That’s a lot of content. So I have tried to put the guides, the tools, the workshops, the articles together on this page. Hope this helps, yes?

Most articles are in English, most videos are in Urdu.

These are hand-picked, proven, field-tested material that has been shown to work! I wish you all the best! Do join our community if you want regular updates when such content is added!

On Money, Communities and This Thing Called Life

Money If you can't answer, "where exactly will I spend this money", then that money is not worth working for. Try to trade the value you create for money (being self employed), instead of trading your time for money (doing a job). Money is the root of all evil? Your...

5 Short & Sweet Lessons from Einstein

5 Short & Sweet Lessons from Einstein

Einstein really was an einstein at brevity. Conveying so much in so little. I saw these quotes by Einstein and wondered how they'd apply to me, and in turn, how they'd apply to you. Curiosity got me this far.  1. "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be...

How to Never Have Problems Ever Again

The Pull of Work

Are you Paying Attention To Your Hobbies?

We are trained to pay a lot of attention to our “work”. Work is sacred. But here's an interesting experiment: look up the big events of the past and see if they were brought about by people working jobs, or by people who were doing what they were passionate about?...

Finding Giants

For my 3 year old daughter I'm a giant. At the zoo, when I lift her up and place her on my shoulders, her world literally changes. She sees what no 3 year old can possibly see on her own. And if there are a lot of people heckling the lion, she sees the lion and I...
