First of all, thank you all for your support.
This year (2012) we are sending supplies to D G Khan. Again, I can not thank you enough for donating to this cause.
God willing, as before, your donations will help people eat and sleep in relative peace. Thank you in advance.
I hope you will join us and contribute to our following target:
We need to raise 400,000 rupees.
And it doesn’t matter how much money you want to give, do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks.
More than just a 1000 Words
Here’s what the team has been able to do in the past, thanks to your donations and support.
Please do consider a donation – I/we will get it picked up from you, you can do a bank transfer, Western Union etc. And if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Who are “We”?
For the record, there is no ‘organization’ behind this, as of yet. I have a close friend, Hayat Khan, who was really on top of things last year. This year again, he is taking the time out to reach out to as many flood-affected people as possible.
In essence, ‘we’ are a group of friends who want to try their best to help. This means that ‘we’ includes ‘you’ as well, since you are reading this. So yeah, We is you is me is us.
I am getting in touch with other family and friends who are willing to donate in time, kind or cash.
Please leave your comments, ideas and suggestions below. They will be very valuable to us. I know a lot of people are trying to do their best, and I support them fully.
I know blogging, social media and writing, and that is what I am trying to use. I hope that no matter what you do, you will use your skills and resources to help each other out. I wish us all the best.
And yes, as always, thank you for donating (and sharing the call across your own network of friends and family).
