Who, me?

Briefly: I have written for SPIDER Magazine and Huffington Post, have been interviewed by the BBC and WIRED. I am by profession, either a writer, blogger and/or a designer, depending on time of the year. 🙂

Not-so-briefly:

Hello, peace and Asalaam-o-Alaikum,

I am Momekh and I help people.

No, Momekh’s not my real name and I am not from Germany. And yes, I find the high of helping people my drug of choice. I try to teach, but by doing. My recent ventures into online business, dairy farming and other unconventional strategies for work and life are discussed in detail here, in hopes that it helps people.

I hail, so to speak,Momekh - LifeETC from the bustling city of Lahore, Pakistan. I qualify as an entrepreneur, but I have had a hard time in categorizing myself.

I have been involved with the Internet since its inception. I was a published writer (IT and Politics) before I was a blogger.

Some feathers in the cap:

  • Written for SPIDER (as a contributing author – written two cover stories including numerous articles relating to IT and IT lifestyle)
  • Interviewed by Wired Magazine for my blogging activities (2005)
  • Written for The Huffington Post

Only recently I have been advertising online (using Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter), and generating relevant traffic.

I have been blogging since 2001 and run a small blog network (three blogs and counting), so keyword analysis and SEO are business as usual.

I have earned my first ticket to anywhere in the world strictly through affiliate marketing, and have now written a step-by-step 60-page guide on how I did it. The ebook is made available to the subscribers of LifeETC for free. Click here to download the book “How to make Your First 1,000 US Dollars With Affiliate Marketing

I do a few other things as well, check out my Projects page.

In an attempt to categorize myself, I have been known to call myself a Marketing and Business consultant. It can also relate to the fact that I have consulted small and mid sized business owners on presentations, marketing and human resource matters. I have been interviewed more than once (once by Wired’s Jeff Koyen, and twice by the BBC) due to my blogging habits 🙂 on matters relating to disaster relief efforts and the freedom of media.

Cutting an exceptionally long story short, I believe that this life, all of this, is not some form of creative sport and that there will be a day of reckoning where all of us will stand in awe of the Creator. And like I always push my clients to do as well, I like to plan ahead. At least try to.

God bless and good luck to us all.
